Sequential OB-6 Keyboard — 6-voice analog synthesizer with a 49-key semi-weighted keyboard, aftertouch, dual digital effects engine (24-bit/48kHz), 2-pole filter, and 64-step polyphonic sequencer.

A collaboration between legends Dave Smith and Tom Oberheim, the OB-6 combines Oberheim’s classic bold SEM sound with modern features like studio-grade effects, a powerful step sequencer, arpeggiator, and intuitive knob-per-function interface. With two discrete VCOs per voice, a classic state-variable 2-pole filter, and analog VCAs, the signal path remains purely analog for warm and expressive tones.

OB-6 offers deep modulation via X-Mod, allowing dramatic timbral shifts using the filter envelope and oscillator 2 as bipolar sources. The 64-step polyphonic sequencer and flexible arpeggiator expand creative potential, supporting rests, synced playback, and unison voice stacking. A dual FX section adds stereo reverb, delay, chorus, flanger, plus Oberheim-style phaser and ring mod — with true analog bypass to maintain full signal integrity.

With 500 factory and 500 user presets, plus a ‘Live Panel’ mode that reflects real-time knob positions, the OB-6 is a sound designer’s dream with immediate hands-on control. Its semi-weighted 4-octave keyboard with velocity and aftertouch makes it equally suited for live performance and studio work.
