sE Electronics sE8 Pair is a factory-matched pair of high-performance, hand-crafted small-diaphragm condenser microphones (SDC), designed for professional studio and live stage applications. At the heart of each microphone is an innovative, hand-made gold-sputtered capsule that delivers an incredibly balanced sound and superior transient response. Thanks to its advanced backplate design, the sE8 offers a linear frequency response and one of the lowest self-noise levels in its class (just 13 dB(A)), making it the perfect choice for capturing the finest details of acoustic instruments, pianos, or string sections.

These microphones stand out for their exceptional versatility thanks to extensive control features. Each unit is equipped with a three-position attenuation pad (0/-10/-20 dB), allowing for operation with extremely loud sound sources (up to 159 dB SPL), making them excellent drum overheads. Additionally, a switchable low-cut filter (80/160 Hz) effectively eliminates proximity effect and unwanted rumble. The pair comes in a rugged transport case complete with a precision stereo bar, mic clips, and windscreens, providing a turnkey solution for stereo recording.
