RØDE VideoMicro is a compact on-camera condenser microphone designed to dramatically improve the audio quality of your videos. Equipped with a high-quality cardioid capsule, it focuses on the sound directly in front of the camera while reducing ambient noise and background distractions. Thanks to its forgiving directional pattern, it delivers more natural indoor sound capture compared to highly focused shotgun mics.

Built from durable aluminum with a high-grade black ceramic anti-glare finish, the VideoMicro offers excellent resistance to RF interference and long-lasting reliability. Weighing only 42 g, it’s an ultra-light companion for cameras, smartphones (via adapter), or portable rigs, ideal for vloggers, filmmakers, and content creators. The microphone operates via camera plug-in power (minimum 3V), requiring no batteries for convenient use anywhere.
