The

Rode VideoMic GO II is a professional shotgun microphone with integrated audio interface and DSP . Like all Rode camera microphones, it impresses with a clear, natural-sounding signal transmission without unwanted colouration. To improve speech intelligibility, Rode has implemented a slight presence boost in the VideoMic GO II . In addition to a mini-jack connector for DSLRs , the VideoMic GO II also offers a USB-C port for connection to a computer or mobile device. In this case, the microphone becomes the audio interface and the jack socket becomes the headphone output. The integrated DSP processor provides the important basic functions of compressor and gate , but also two loudness functions (Exciter and Big Bottom) from Aphex. This makes the preparation of recordings using level correction and noise reduction child's play.
