RODE PG2-R — a professional pistol grip shock mount designed to provide superior handling noise isolation for shotgun microphones in film, TV, and broadcast production. Engineered with RØDE’s advanced Lyre suspension system, the PG2-R ensures optimal vibration isolation without the need for elastic bands that can wear out over time.
The PG2-R is compatible with most shotgun microphones, including the RØDE NTG series (NTG1, NTG2, NTG3, NTG4, NTG4+), as well as other models with a diameter between 19 and 25 mm. It features an integrated cable management system with a removable, balanced XLR connector for a clean and secure connection during field use.
With its ergonomic handle and adjustable angle mount, the PG2-R provides excellent control during handheld recording or boom operation. A built-in dual Rycote Lyre suspension minimizes vibrations, while the lightweight, rugged construction ensures durability in demanding professional environments.
