RØDE NT3 – a versatile end-address 3/4-inch true condenser microphone designed for studio, stage, and location recording. Featuring a gold-sputtered externally polarized capsule with internal shock mounting, cardioid polar pattern, and ultra-low noise electronics with high RF rejection. The NT3 delivers exceptional detail across the full frequency spectrum, making it ideal for capturing drums, percussion, acoustic guitars, guitar amplifiers, piano, and vocals. Offers dual power operation via P48 phantom power or 9V battery for maximum flexibility in any recording situation.
Built with a rugged all-metal body and durable welded mesh head, the NT3 is engineered to withstand the demands of both studio and field work. The microphone incorporates a JFET impedance converter with transformerless bipolar output buffer, ensuring clean signal delivery over long cable runs with minimal noise. Its cardioid pickup pattern effectively isolates the source signal while maintaining consistent frequency response throughout the capture area. The internally shock-mounted capsule reduces handling noise and vibration transfer, making it equally suitable for handheld presentation use, stand mounting, or boompole operation.
With a maximum SPL of 140 dB and dynamic range exceeding 123 dB, the NT3 handles everything from delicate acoustic instruments to powerful drum hits with ease. The equivalent noise level of just 16 dBA ensures pristine recordings even in quiet passages. Designed and manufactured in Australia, the NT3 represents RØDE's commitment to quality and reliability, backed by an industry-leading 10-year warranty. The microphone comes complete with a padded zip pouch, foam windshield, durable stand mount clip, and thread adapter for universal stand compatibility.
