Dominance 1402 MK2 belongs to a series available at three power levels — 360, 720, and 960W — so an installer picks the model matching the actual PA size instead of over-specifying or leaving too little headroom. This model delivers 2x360W at 4Ω and 2x240W at 8Ω across 20Hz-20kHz, in a 2U rack chassis weighing 10kg.

Dominance 1402 MK2 answers that with an extensive overload and short-circuit protection package, a thermal protective circuit, and separate amplifier circuits for channel A and B, so a fault on one channel doesn't take the other down with it. Reinforced heat sinks, an aluminum cooling tunnel, and an efficient fan keep operating temperature stable even under the sustained, high-duty-cycle load typical of background-music installations.

Ground-loop noise elimination and flexible wiring

A ground/lift switch breaks the ground loop that forms when connecting the amplifier to other gear in the same installation — a common source of 50/60Hz hum in systems built from equipment by multiple manufacturers. XLR and RCA inputs handle both balanced professional sources and DJ or consumer-grade gear without extra adapters, and Speakon connectors alongside screw-clamp terminals on the output give a choice between a quick concert cable connection and permanent installation wiring.
