Presonus Eris Studio 8

PreSonus Eris Studio 8 – an 8-inch two-way active studio monitor designed for home and professional studios. Equipped with an 8″ woven-composite low-frequency driver and a 1.25″ ultra-low-mass silk-dome high-frequency driver, it offers detailed sound reproduction and deep bass down to 35 Hz. The model uses a Class AB bi-amplified 140 W system (75 W LF + 65 W HF) and features a front-firing acoustic port for optimized bass response.

The Eris Studio 8 includes a custom Elliptical Boundary Modeled (EBM) waveguide with a 120° horizontal and 60° vertical dispersion, creating a wide sweet spot while reducing desk reflections. Acoustic tuning controls allow adjustment of high frequencies (±6 dB), midrange (±6 dB) and room placement via an Acoustic Space switch (flat, –2 dB, –4 dB) plus a selectable high-pass filter (off/80 Hz/100 Hz). Inputs include XLR and ¼″ TRS (balanced) and RCA (unbalanced).

With a maximum SPL of 106 dB at 1 meter, robust build quality including a MDF cabinet with vinyl lamination, and integrated protection circuits (RF interference, over-temperature, output current limiting, soft start), the Eris Studio 8 is built for reliability and performance.
