PMC 12 SUB XBD - 12 inch Low-Frequency XBD Cabinet

PMC 12 SUB XBD is a sophisticated 12-inch low-frequency cabinet designed to perfectly complement the new Main Monitor Series (such as the PMC12 XBD). Its primary role is to extend the system's frequency response and increase dynamic headroom in an XBD configuration. The design features a newly developed 300mm (12-inch) Radial™ bass driver, which, thanks to an enhanced motor system and high-excursion voice coil, delivers extreme precision and control over low frequencies—essential for critical mixing and mastering environments.

The subwoofer utilizes the flagship Advanced Transmission Line (ATL™) technology with an effective length of 3 meters. Paired with the aerodynamic LaminairX™ vent, it eliminates port turbulence noise, ensuring clean, deep bass even at high SPLs. The module is fully integrated into the PMC ecosystem, powered by dedicated Class-D amplifiers controlled via advanced DSP and the SoundAlign2™ system. Adding an XBD cabinet increases the system's maximum sound pressure level by 3 dB below the crossover frequency, enabling effortless performance in larger control rooms.
