PMC 12 SUB - 12 inch Active Subwoofer

PMC 12 SUB is a high-performance passive studio subwoofer designed as the foundation for the new Main Monitor Series, including the PMC12 systems. It features a newly developed, hand-built 12-inch (300mm) bass driver that sets new standards for low-frequency precision and control. Thanks to its advanced design with a triple-wound voice coil and dual-spider suspension, the driver achieves an impressive linear excursion of 36mm, allowing for deep, distortion-free bass reproduction even at extreme sound pressure levels.

The subwoofer utilizes the flagship Advanced Transmission Line (ATL™) technology, which, combined with the aerodynamic LaminairX™ vent system, eliminates port turbulence noise. The PMC 12 SUB is designed to be driven by PMC's external controllers and amplifiers (such as the master36 or power20), ensuring full integration with the SoundAlign2™ digital ecosystem. Its modular design allows flexible configuration as either a standalone LFE subwoofer or an XBD extension for main monitors, increasing system headroom by 3 dB.
