Neumann TLM 107 is a large-diaphragm condenser studio microphone featuring five selectable polar patterns, a switchable pad, and a low-cut filter. The rear navigation switch allows convenient control over all parameters: pad (0 / –6 / –12 dB), low-cut filter (flat / 40 Hz / 100 Hz), and polar patterns (omni, wide cardioid, cardioid, hypercardioid, figure-8). The dual-diaphragm capsule, developed specifically for the TLM 107, ensures exceptional transient response and a balanced frequency curve across all pickup modes, allowing pattern changes without altering the tonal balance.

As a part of the TLM series, the TLM 107 uses a transformerless circuit that provides transparent, open sound with full bass response even at extreme sound pressure levels.
