Modal Cobalt8X – extended virtual-analog synthesizer with 8-voice polyphony and 61-key FATAR keyboard, designed for musicians and producers seeking warm, punchy analog-style sounds. It combines traditional technology with modern features, offering an innovative oscillator engine, wide selection of morphable filters, extensive modulation, step sequencer, programmable arpeggiator, MPE support, and studio-quality effects. Road-ready steel and aluminum enclosure with bamboo end cheeks (1295 x 288 x 91 mm, 8.6 kg) suits studio production and live performances.

Cobalt8X features 64 high-resolution oscillators (up to 8 per voice), two oscillator groups with 40 algorithms (Sync, Ring Mod, Morphing), over 30 filter types (2/4-pole Ladder, State Variable), and 12-slot modulation matrix. 512-note sequencer with parameter animations, 64-step arpeggiator, and 3-slot FX engine (reverb, delay, chorus) enable dynamic compositions. MODALapp integration allows preset editing on mobile or computer. MIDI/USB, CV/Gate, and audio I/O provide versatile connectivity.
