Modal Cobalt8M – compact virtual-analog synthesizer module with 8-voice polyphony, designed for musicians and producers seeking versatile vintage and modern tones. Leveraging innovative oscillator algorithms, Cobalt8M delivers rich, warm analog-style sounds with 40 complex waveforms, ideal for ambient, electronic, and experimental compositions. Cobalt8M features 30 filter types, including morphable 2-pole State Variable and 4-pole Ladder, with advanced modulation via 16-slot matrix. Step sequencer (256 steps) and arpeggiator with 32 patterns enable dynamic sequences, while MPE and studio-quality effects (reverb, delay, chorus) add depth. Integration with free MODALapp allows preset editing on computer or mobile. MIDI/USB and CV/Gate support ensure compatibility with modular systems.
