Make Noise STO

Make Noise STO is an oscillator module for Eurorack format modular synthesisers. The STO is a compact voltage-controlled os cillator with alternating waves, sub-octaves, SYNC oscillator and linear FM , designed specifically for sine waves . This sub-octave oscillator has a slightly smoother character compared to the Make Noise DPO system and its complex sound structure.

One look is all it takes to generate STO noise:

• Triangular core with outputs for SINE, SUB and SHAPE
• The distinctive variable SHAPE circuit, which generates subtle timbre changes by taking into account even and odd harmonies
• Linear FM input with intensity control
• -Direct input (EXPOnential input) for partial FM sweeps, SYNC or sequence transposition.
• SUB oscillator with massive bass
• S-Gate input for gate or synchronisation with SUB oscillators, independent of other outputs
• Hard SYNC circuit, which in combination with Linear FM and Variable SHAPE generates harmonically rich sounds.
• Works well in combination with MMG or Optomix
