Make Noise Pressure Points controller

is a controller and sequencer module for Eurorack format modular synthesisers. With this module, the user becomes "one with the circuit" as soon as he touches the gold-plated touch plates. A gate signal (GATE OUT) and a control signal depending on the applied pressure (Press OUT) are sent through the contact . In addition, three control voltages per stage (four in total) can be set via potentiometers, which are 'triggered' when the stage is touched. Make Noise Pressure Points is ideally suited for use with the Make Noise Brain and Math modules.

Gate signals can be used to:

• To switch patch elements on and off,
• to generate timed events,
• to run a function generator (e.g. MATHS).

Pressure signals can be used to make the patch more expressive by:

• modulating the signal pitch with pressure,
• the colour of the signal being modulated by pressure.

"Tuned voltages" can be used to

• play the sound in the usual melodic way
• Programming of chords or pitch switches.

to four pressure points can be cascaded (internally, via daisy-chain cable) to create larger and more complex control patchesAll outputs offer sufficient level reserve to distribute losslessly through a passive 4x multiple (no need to buffer multiples). Pressure points can be controlled by the MODULE expansion module and work well in conjunction with MATHS.
