The MP-240BTA is built for stage musicians and monitor engineers who need accurate full-range reproduction and effective isolation from the environment. The hybrid driver layout puts a dynamic transducer in charge of low and low-mid frequencies – delivering punch and bass weight – while the balanced armature handles the top end with fast transient response and clean high-frequency detail. The result is a coherent, full-range sound that avoids the typical trade-off between bass impact and high-end clarity found in single-driver IEMs.

Two modes of operation, one pair of monitors

MMCX connectors allow cable swaps in seconds. The included Bluetooth 5.0 adapter – with built-in microphone and up to 8 hours of battery life charged via Micro USB – turns the MP-240BTA into a wireless pair for off-stage use: calls, mobile listening, or computer work. The braided shielded 3.5 mm cable takes over when connected to an IEM beltpack or headphone amp. No need to keep separate pairs for stage and everyday use.

Isolation and comfort through a full set

The ergonomically molded closed-back enclosures deliver up to 40 dB of passive noise attenuation without active noise cancellation circuitry. That's enough headroom to keep monitoring levels safe without having to crank volume to compete with stage SPL. The kit includes three sizes of memory foam tips and three sizes of silicone double-flange tips – tip fit is ultimately what determines both isolation performance and bass response more than any printed spec, and Mackie covers the full range of ear canal geometries.
