The Catalyst 100 combo amp from Line 6 is a modeling amp with a sound that is perfect for both stage and studio. The amp produces 100 watts, is equipped with a 1x12-inch speaker, and is packed with features that make it ideal for home recording, rehearsals, and gigs.

The Catalyst 100 features 6 original Line 6 amp models (clean, boutique, chime, crunch, dynamic, hi-gain) that will produce any sound you could possibly desire—from a warm and rounded clean to a penetrating crunch with plenty of overdrive. The set includes 18 built-in effects and a special reverb section (with six different reverb types), which gives almost unlimited possibilities for shaping the final sound.

The built-in attenuator allows you to reduce the output power depending on the situation: to 50 W and 0.5 W for night rehearsals or complete silence.

The Catalyst series also has a 4-channel USB interface for recording quiet sessions and for recording applications.

At full power, the Catalyst 100 amplifier is ideal for concerts or rehearsals. In this amplifier, it is possible to reduce the power to 50 W and 0.5 W. Such powers are also perfect for connecting a microphone, which is great for home recording conditions. If you prefer to record almost without noise, you can use the built-in 4-channel USB interface or the XLR line output directly to a mixer or other recording device.

The gain scheme is optimized for each amp type – you’ll get a range of sound dynamics from barely audible overdrive to all-out crunch. The 6 different reverb types also sound great, but if that’s not enough – you’ll be happy to hear the additional 18 versatile effects.
