The LCT 240 PRO's cardioid pattern reduces sensitivity behind the capsule, keeping the mic focused on the source in front and cutting down on picked-up side reflections, which lets it work in a typical untreated room. The bundled LCT 50 PSX magnetic pop filter eliminates plosive P and B sounds without needing to set up a separate pop-filter stand.

High SPL Handling Without Distortion

Vocal microphones with a low SPL ceiling can distort on louder vocal passages or when recording percussion in the same room. The LCT 240 PRO handles up to 142dB SPL at 0.5% THD, giving enough headroom for not just a belting vocal but also toms, guitar amps, or other loud sources without switching to a separate dynamic mic.
