Korg Minilogue — a four-voice, analogue polyphonic synthesizer with a 37 slim-key, velocity-sensitive keyboard, built as an affordable way into genuine analogue synthesis. Each voice carries two VCOs (saw, triangle, square), a mixer with noise, a filter switchable between 2-pole and 4-pole response, two envelopes and one LFO. The 16-step sequencer handles polyphony and motion recording of parameters, and the OLED display shows waveform shape as a real-time oscilloscope. 200 programs (100 factory, 100 user) store full sound settings, voice mode, and sequence data.

Eight voice modes from one analogue engine

An analogue polysynth at this price usually offers one fixed way of spreading voices across the keyboard. Minilogue provides eight modes - Poly, Duo, Unison, Mono, Chord, Delay, Arp, and Side Chain - all controlled by a shared VOICE MODE DEPTH knob that changes a different parameter in each mode. The same instrument plays full four-voice chords, a thick unison bass with adjustable detune, arpeggiated lines with the sequencer, or works as a side-chain effect reacting to an external signal - all without switching to another synth.

2-/4-pole filter and VCO2 modulation for extended timbre

The filter type switch shifts cutoff character between a sharper 2-pole slope and a denser, fuller 4-pole one - no external filter module needed. VCO2 carries its own modulation section with cross mod depth, oscillator sync, and ring modulation, so two analogue oscillators can produce metallic, bell-like tones or aggressive FM-like sounds that would otherwise need an extra digital synth or a modular patch.
