KETRON SUSTAIN PEDAL is a foot sustain pedal for Ketron keyboards and arrangers. Connected with a standard 1/4" plug (TS jack), it extends the decay of played notes for as long as the pedal is held, exactly like the right pedal on an acoustic piano. The standard connector lets the pedal work with a wide range of other keyboards and digital pianos as well.
Natural note sustain under your foot
Without sustain, piano and organ parts sound dry and cut off every time a finger leaves a key. The pedal frees your hands to shape phrases while holding the decay of chords and ornaments. In the Pianist and Bassist modes of Ketron instruments, sustain lets you hold a bass note or chord and move smoothly to the next harmony with no break in your playing.
Universal connection and build variants
The pedal works the moment you plug it into the Sustain socket, with no configuration and no power. It comes in a standard version and a piano type, while a footswitch-connector variant lets you assign it to instrument control functions such as Start/Stop or voice change. A solid body with a rubber base keeps the pedal in place during playing and withstands transport between gigs.
