KETRON EVM is a compact arranger module containing the full functionality of the flagship Event keyboard — the same voices, Real Styles and arranger architecture in a housing weighing around 2 kg. With no physical screen on the unit, the EVM is controlled via an external monitor over HDMI, a tablet or a PC via VNC, making it an ideal solution for a musician playing with a digital piano, MIDI accordion or master keyboard on the road and in the studio.
Event in a box for any setup
A musician with a good digital piano or MIDI accordion often doesn't want to haul a second keyboard just to access a professional arranger. The EVM connects via MIDI to any controller, enriching the voice palette and providing over 500 Real, Live and MIDI styles. You display the graphic interface on a touch monitor, tablet or laptop — the screen can sit on the instrument's music stand, keeping full control without adding weight to the rig.
A rhythm section built on real recordings
Synthetic, looped backing is the weakness of most modules. The EVM uses over 580 Real Drums — studio recordings of drummers — 256 Real Bass with Twin Bass and Lock Bass functions, and over 300 Real Chords with guitars and other instruments. Audio Style Modeling lets you combine audio and MIDI tracks into new patterns in seconds. Real Solos with Aftertouch, Round Robin and natural decay control, a Twin Organ with 9 drawbars and a 2.5 GB User Sampler round out the professional arranger palette.
