Transformer Weight and Musical Equalization

The core of the input stage is a microphone preamplifier coupled with a premium Jensen JT-MB-CPCA transformer, delivering 70 dB of clean gain. This topology is revered for its gentle roll-off at the frequency extremes and mild phase shift, imparting a deep, musical richness that counteracts digital sterility. Frequency shaping is handled by the classic 4-band parametric equalizer featuring a Proportional Q design.
