Grace Design ROXi is a single-channel microphone and instrument preamp, EQ and DI in a rugged, floor-based chassis, combining the studio Grace Design preamp path with extensive stage functionality. Larger and more feature-rich than the REX, the ROXi adds an instrument input, a mid EQ band and a blended FX loop, giving vocalists and instrumentalists a complete tool for the stage and pedalboard.
A studio preamp for mic and instrument
A musician playing live often needs one pedal handling both a microphone and a pickup-equipped instrument. The ROXi has an XLR/TRS combo input accepting mic or instrument signal: up to 60 dB of gain for the mic and 40 dB for the jack input, with an additional variable boost up to 10 dB. The transparent Grace Design path draws out the full body even from demanding dynamic mics without an extra booster, and 48 V phantom power handles condenser mics.
Extensive EQ and full stage control
Tone shaping on stage demands more than two bands. The ROXi has an EQ with Low and High shelving plus a sweepable mid (175 Hz to 4 kHz), and a switchable high-pass filter operating at 75 or 150 Hz. The FX loop gains a dry/wet mix control, and a dedicated tuner output stays active even when muted, letting you tune silently during a performance. The unbalanced amp output has independent level control, and a set of DIP switches configures the filter, DI level and left footswitch function.
