Grace Design m701 32x32 Digilink is a modular audio interface and A/D-D/A converter in a 2U chassis, offering 32 analog input channels, 32 analog output channels and a 32x32 Digilink interface for Avid Pro Tools|HD systems. The maximum analog configuration of the m701 platform gives a recording studio a complete, high-grade conversion complement integrated directly into Pro Tools without external converters or additional cabling.

A large recording studio working with an analog console and Pro Tools|HD needs massive, reference-quality conversion I/O in one unit. The m701 32x32 Digilink provides 32 channels of A/D and 32 channels of D/A conversion with THD+N of 0.0002% and 0.00055% respectively, with a 32x32 Digilink card supporting Pro Tools|HD Accel, HDX and HD Native. In Sound On Sound testing the m701 outperformed the Prism Sound Dream ADA-128 by over 2 dB in both measurements, and its analog path is built on the same design principles as Grace Design preamps and converters developed over more than 25 years.
Modularity and GraceNet in a large studio environment
Eight ADC and DAC card slots populated with four 8-channel ADC modules and four 8-channel DAC modules provide 32 inputs and 32 analog outputs, reconfigurable in any combination to match changing studio needs. A built-in 32x8 low-latency mixer supports up to 8 independent cue mixes for musicians via GraceNet without loading the computer. A third option slot accepts a 24-channel AES3 module, word clock distribution or future monitoring functions, and onboard I/O (8-channel AES3, 8-channel ADAT, 2-channel S/PDIF) provides additional routing flexibility.
