Genelec Monitor SAM 8340A (Black) – a high-performance active studio monitor in the SAM family, with integrated room acoustic calibration and capability to perform in demanding professional environments.
The 8340A features a frequency range of 38 Hz to 22 kHz (–6 dB) and ±1.5 dB precision across 45 Hz to 20 kHz. Bi-amplified Class D electronics deliver 150 W for the low frequencies and 150 W for the highs, offering excellent dynamics and low distortion. The monitor can reach a short-term peak SPL of ≥ 110 dB.
Its die-cast aluminium enclosure with bass-reflex design and DCW (Directivity Control Waveguide) ensures controlled dispersion. The 8340A works with the GLM system, enabling automatic room calibration to tailor its response to your space. Connectivity includes an analog XLR input, AES/EBU input and output, and two RJ45 GLM network ports.
