GAINLAB DICTATOR is a dual pentode vari-μ tube compressor with stereo/dual-mono operation, featuring stepped controls, military-grade 6K4P-EV tubes, and permalloy transformers — ideal for mastering, bus compression, tracking, and sound design in professional studios.

This versatile compressor draws inspiration from classics like Fairchild 670 and Gates STA-Level, offering precise control over dynamics with modern features like sidechain filters, hi/lo compression modes, and ground lift. It excels at gluing mixes, adding warmth and saturation, or aggressive control while maintaining musicality. Compatible with Session Recall software for easy preset management.
