The largest model in the Clarett+ range, Focusrite Clarett+ 8Pre is designed for serious multitrack recording setups. Its eight mic/line/instrument inputs with relay-controlled analog Air circuits offer pristine signal capture with selectable impedance and transparency inspired by the classic ISA preamps. The ultra-linear A/D and D/A conversion delivers up to 124 dB dynamic range on output with minimal distortion. A pair of JFET Hi-Z inputs preserves the natural character of guitars, while dual headphone outputs support independent monitoring.

ADAT and S/PDIF inputs allow easy expansion with devices like Clarett OctoPre, and Wordclock output ensures tight sync in digital setups. Clarett+ 8Pre runs seamlessly on USB 2.0 and higher ports, with both USB-A and USB-C cables included. Combined with the Focusrite Control software, routing, monitor mixing, and device management become intuitive and powerful.
