The EVE Audio TS107 is the most compact active subwoofer in the ThunderStorm series, expertly engineered for small home studios, editing suites, and dedicated nearfield setups where space is strictly limited. Despite its incredibly small footprint, this studio monitor subwoofer provides exceptional low-end extension, perfectly complementing smaller satellite monitors (like the EVE SC203, SC204, or SC205). By handling the lowest frequencies, the TS107 effectively relieves the main monitors of extreme mechanical stress, which dramatically increases the overall system's headroom and allows the midrange and high frequencies to sound noticeably cleaner and more focused.
At the acoustic core of the EVE Audio TS107 sits a proprietary 6.5-inch woofer, driven by a highly efficient 100W (RMS) PWM Class-D amplifier. The standout feature of this subwoofer is its enclosure design: instead of relying on a traditional bass reflex tube, it utilizes a custom passive radiator mounted to the bottom of the cabinet, firing downwards. This advanced design physically eliminates audible air turbulence noises (port chuffing) and unwanted pipe resonances that frequently compromise the accuracy of smaller ported subs. The result is an incredibly tight, low-distortion bass response that reaches down to a precise 36 Hz with a maximum SPL of 102 dB.
In line with EVE Audio's philosophy, the TS107 integrates high-resolution DSP powered by premium Burr-Brown A/D converters to meticulously manage the woofer's operation. However, a massive advantage of this system is that the audio path routed to your satellite speakers remains 100% analog—there is absolutely no extra A/D or D/A conversion applied to your main mix. The sub provides flexible tuning options, including a variable low-pass filter (60 - 140 Hz), a switchable high-pass filter for the satellites (Flat or 80 Hz), and phase inversion (0°/180°). For ultimate convenience, it includes a wireless infrared remote control that allows users to seamlessly adjust both the subwoofer and total system volume straight from the sweet spot.
