Synthsis a digital drum synth with sequencer , created in close collaboration with Er
ica Synths. Sonic Potions from Erica Synths. The compact unit in a beautiful aluminium housing pulls out all the sonic possibilities. Each of the six tracks can be adjusted in detail with more than 30 parameters , covering a wide range of (emulated) analogue drums, myriad sounds with a hard industrial character and those best described as 'artifact-rich chaos sounds'. The synthesis consists of VA (virtual analogue) and FM elements and can be modulated in complex ways. Envelopes, LFOs and Velocity can be freely assigned to any destination, allowing for particularly varied and dynamic sounds. In addition, each track has a resonant multi-mode filter and insert effects , such as Bitcrusher or Wavefolder, for example. There is also a main effects processor , which can handle, among other things, flanger and delay . The sequencer is programmable for four bars (64 steps), masters substeps , other timing resolutions and live intervention options that will bring the club to a boil. In addition to the wide range of sounds, drum kit morphing is by far one of the instrument's greatest strengths. The four audio outputs can be defined as stereo pairs or freely assigned to individual outputs. Thanks to the extensive MIDI implementation , the drum machine can also be fully controlled by a DAW, for example. Thanks to the analogue Clock and reset on
the ch outputs , the Erica Synths LXR-02 can also be synchronised with a modular system.
