Elektron Model :Cycles is a compact 6-track groovebox with FM synthesis and sequencer . In terms of design and control concept, it is related to the Model :Samples. The flat housing, together with the compact Display and multiple encoders, emphasises the simplified handling of complex sounds and makes it easy for the user to familiarise themselves with it. The Elektron Model:Cycles Groovebox draws its sonic diversity from six different FM models (machines), divided into Kick, Snare, Metal, Perc, Tone and Chord, which will reveal much more than their names may suggest. The sounds contained in the project can be organised into sets on six tracks and directly edited using 15 knobs. Parameters for playback functions, LFOs and effects , such as delay and reverb , allow you to instantly conjure up new variations on the sounds you create.

Microtiming, Swing and individual step lengths from 1-64 steps per track allow you to create exciting patterns even beyond the 4/4 grid.Of course, there is also the beloved Parameterlocks! All relevant parameters can be found directly on the surface, so there is no need to jump between menu pages. The compact, lightweight design will find its place almost anywhere and is immediately ready for use.
