ATMOS isn't a separate design — it's a purpose-matched bundle of the proven MONITOR-ST/SR architecture, sized exactly for object-based monitoring. Three SR modules expand the base ST unit to fourteen analog channels while keeping the same fully analog, relay-based signal path and audiophile-grade components that drive the standalone ST/SR system.
A turnkey Atmos system instead of building one yourself
Figuring out how many SR modules a given object-based format actually needs can be non-trivial — it's easy to buy too few channels or too many. ATMOS removes that calculation: three SR units come already matched and tested with one ST, delivering a complete set of fourteen channels ready to configure from the start. Regardless of how many modules are physically working inside it, the whole system runs from a single elegant remote connected over one shielded cable, exactly as on a standalone MONITOR-ST — no separate control panel for each expansion unit.
Format flexibility without rewiring
The same physical system switches between 5.1.2, 7.1.2, 9.1.2, 5.1.4, and 7.1.4 configurations without changing any cabling — useful in facilities handling different client delivery requirements in the same room. Analog inputs and outputs are consolidated onto DB25 connectors (sixteen channels each way), keeping the wiring compact despite the channel count, while dedicated XLR jacks handle a cue amp and slate, rounding out communication with the tracking room even in object-based work. A 1/4" headphone jack allows ongoing monitoring checks without engaging the full speaker array.
