Wheels instead of carrying 23 kg on a strap

The L1 Pro16 system itself weighs 23 kg without a bag, noticeably more than the compact L1 Pro8, for which Bose only offers a shoulder-strap bag. At that weight, and over the distances typical of small-to-medium clubs and bars – from the parking lot, through a back hallway, onto the stage – built-in wheels and a comfortable handle are the difference between a one-person load-in and needing a second set of hands on every trip. Rubber footing protects the bottom of the bag while rolling it across a club floor or sidewalk.

One bag for the whole system plus room for accessories

The line array pole and the power stand with its integrated subwoofer travel together in one padded bag instead of requiring a separate case for each piece, and a reinforced zipper plus interior padding protect the enclosure during daily transport between gigs. Extra space inside fits a microphone, cables, or a power supply, so a DJ or band playing small clubs regularly doesn't need to pack a second accessory bag into the same car.
