Bose L1 PRO16 – a line array PA system with 16 J-shaped 2" drivers and an integrated 10" × 18" RaceTrack subwoofer, delivering 180-degree horizontal coverage, frequency response down to 42 Hz, and a maximum SPL of 118 dB (124 dB peak) from a combined 1250 W of amplification.

J-shape instead of a straight pole – coverage from a raised stage

Unlike the straight L1 Pro32 pole, which holds near-zero vertical dispersion, the L1 Pro16's J-shaped array gives adjustable vertical coverage of 0 to 30 degrees, letting you angle sound downward when the system sits on a raised stage in a club or wedding venue with the crowd on the floor below. An engineer sets the pole's curve to match the stage height instead of compensating with overall volume alone, which cuts the risk of overdriving the front rows while leaving the back of the room underserved.

An integrated subwoofer instead of a separate module to buy and cable

Unlike the L1 Pro32, which requires a separate Sub1 or Sub2 purchase, the L1 Pro16 has its RaceTrack subwoofer built directly into the power stand – one less box to buy, transport, and connect with a SubMatch cable. The 1000 W amplifier for the subwoofer and the 250 W amplifier for the mid-high pole work together as one ready-made system, going from collapsed (170 cm) to extended (201 cm) without any extra cabling between the bass and high-frequency sections. A three-channel mixer with phantom power and ToneMatch presets handles a microphone, a guitar, and a line source at the same time, with no outboard console needed.
