Noise Plethora by Befaco is a modular multi-timbral noise synthesizer designed for flexible sound design and creating complex noise textures. The integration of digital generators with analog filters provides wide possibilities for shaping soundscapes — from atmospheric layers to aggressive industrial textures. The modular architecture and the ability to dynamically modulate parameters via CV make it a versatile tool for experimental, cinematic, and electronic music.
Noise Plethora includes three independent digital sound generators, each with its own analog multimodal filter based on OTA architecture. The first two channels allow selecting from a wide array of noise algorithms, such as hum, oscillator clusters, granular clicks, and more, with modulation from two separate CV signals. The third channel provides three independent outputs: dirty noise, white noise, and the filtered version of one of them. The compact design and sturdy aluminum front panel ensure reliability and ease of integration into any modular system.
