Audient iD48 is a flagship 24-channel premium USB audio interface featuring 8 Audient Console mic preamps, 32-bit ESS DAC/ADC conversion, advanced switchable analog inserts, ADAT/SPDIF expansion support, software-based monitoring mixer, and a rugged metal chassis ready for rack mounting.

Equipped with 8 fully discrete console-grade mic preamps, 8 balanced analog inserts, and ESS 32-bit DAC/ADC conversion, iD48 delivers uncompromising audio performance and flexible signal routing. The switchable insert path allows external gear to be routed either pre or post conversion without reconnecting cables. With optical ADAT and SPDIF I/O, you can expand up to 16 additional input channels for larger recording sessions.

The dual independent headphone outputs feature high-headroom engineering-grade amplifiers capable of driving up to 600 Ω, while the main and alternate speaker outputs let you switch between monitors or connect a headphone amp for artist mixes. iD48 also supports talkback via USB microphones or your computer’s built-in mic, freeing up physical preamps for recording tasks.

The iD Mixer software provides zero-latency monitoring, the creation of up to four custom stereo artist mixes, advanced routing, and preset recall—all in a streamlined interface. Configurable hardware buttons allow fast access to monitoring functions like mute, mono, or speaker A/B switching. Dual JFET instrument inputs with tube-like harmonics complete this powerful studio hub.
