Audient EVO 8

Evo 8 is an intelligently designed 4-input audio interface with DSP mixers and routing matrix . The unit delivers professional soundquality with ease of use in a compact format, and with its USB power supply it is ideal for mobile applications. Four warm and full-sounding evo-preamps and a class-A JFET instrument preamp are built in. The innovative auto-gain function automatically finds the right level at the touch of a button, preventing clipping and ensuring an optimal gain stage.

With two headphone outputs , the Evo 8 is also suitable for use in pairs, whether recording songs or recording interviews and commentaries.

Another special feature of the Audient Evo 8 is that phantom power can be switched on independently for channels 1 to 4 , for example, if a condenser microphone for vocals is to be used simultaneously with a dynamic microphone for amp recording. The loopback function allows simultaneous recording of computer audio with an external audio source such as a speech microphone - ideal for Skype interviews or podcasters who want to record annotated computer games, for example.
