is a new brand from British company Audient , and Audient Evo 4 is their first product - an intelligently designed 2 in/out audio interface with DSP mixers and routing matrix . The unit delivers professional sound quality with ease of use in a compact format, and with its USB power supply it is perfect for mobile use. There are 2 built-in warm and full-sounding evo-preamps and a Class A JFET instrument preamp . The innovative auto-gain function automatically finds the right level at the press of a button, so overload is prevented and the optimum gain stage can be achieved.

Another special feature of the Audient Evo 4 is that the phantom power for channels 1 and 2 can be switched on independently if, for example, a condenser microphone for vocals is to be used simultaneously with a dynamic microphone for amp recording. The loopback function allows the recording of computer audio simultaneously with an external audio source such as a speech microphone - ideal for Skype interviewers or podcasters who want to record annotated computer games. Evo 4 is ideal for all computer recordings where sound and creativity are the main focus!
