The ASM Leviasynth Desktop is an immensely advanced, hybrid algorithmic synthesizer that merges the power of digital oscillators with the organic character of true analog low-pass filters in a sleek, compact enclosure. Designed for sound designers, producers, and live performers, this instrument completely redefines sonic flexibility. The desktop version retains the full power of the 16-voice engine found in the keyboard model, replacing the traditional keybed with 16 expressive Polytouch® pads (featuring polyphonic aftertouch and velocity sensitivity), which enable an exceptionally organic playing experience.
The sound engine inside the Leviasynth is an absolute monster – each of the 16 voices is equipped with 8 oscillators, and each oscillator provides access to over 300 waveforms and 7 synthesis types (including Phase Modulation, FM, PWM, and Phase Distortion). How these oscillators interact is defined by an impressive 144 preset algorithms (plus one fully user-customizable algorithm per patch). Furthermore, the unique "Algorithm Morphing" feature allows for smooth, dynamic transitions between different routing structures in real-time, opening the door to endlessly evolving textures and massive, multi-layered sounds.
The sound-shaping capabilities are completed by a hybrid filter structure, consisting of 18 digital multimode models alongside a fully analog 4-pole low-pass filter with pre-drive and self-oscillation options. A massive modulation section features 5 LFOs, 6 envelopes per voice (plus 5 group envelopes), and an advanced 32-slot modulation matrix. This is all rounded out by a 3-track sequencer with parameter automation recording, an innovative arpeggiator with an "Entropy" function, and a versatile effects section. With a rich array of connections (including CV/Gate outputs) and a multi-color touch screen, the Leviasynth is the perfect centerpiece for any modern studio setup.
