ASM Hydrasynth Keyboard

The ASM Hydrasynth Keyboard is a digital synthesizer with a 49-key semi-weighted dynamic keyboard with aftertouch, a 4-octave ribbon controller, 3 oscillators, 16 filter models and 32 modulation slots.

Polytouch Keyboard
Seeking new ways for musicians to express themselves, ASM introduces the revolutionary Polytouch technology. Our semi-weighted keyboard provides polyphonic aftertouch, allowing you to individually adjust the pressure on each key. This means that you can now control the dynamics of each note, creating a deeper and more expressive musical interaction. The standard-sized keys provide comfort and familiarity when playing, as if your hands were securely placed in gloves.

Ribbon Controller
Add expression to any sound with our 4-octave ribbon controller, which is located just above the keyboard. It can be used as a modulation source, to control pitch, or even as a monophonic instrument thanks to the Theremin mode. Choose continuous pitch control or quantize according to one of 60 scales, including microtonal. Additionally, the tape can be used as a CV source to control a Eurorack system.

Oscillators

The heart of any synthesizer is its oscillators, and in Hydrasynth we have three of them. Each oscillator offers a choice of 219 single-wave waveforms. Two of the oscillators have a wavemorphing function, allowing you to easily create your own wavetables. In version 2.0 you can select the bit depth of each oscillator, giving you access to the desired vintage and raw sounds.

Mutants
Oscillators 1 and 2 are routed to the MUTANTS block, which allows you to modulate, modify and shape your sound in new ways. Choose from a variety of processes, such as FM-Linear, WavStack and more, to introduce unique textures to your sound.

Mixer & Filters

Three oscillators are mixed with a noise generator and ring modulation. The mixer offers independent level and stereo position control for five sources. Filters can be configured in both parallel and serial modes, opening up endless possibilities for sound processing.

Filters

Hydrasynth filters can both tear apart and gently envelop your sound. Filter 1 offers 16 models, including a vocal filter with formant control, while Filter 2 is a 12 dB per octave state-variable filter. These filters can be configured to work together to create rich and complex sounds.

LFOs & Envelopes
With five low-frequency oscillators and five envelopes, Hydrasynth offers a wide range of modulation possibilities. LFOs can act as mini-sequencers, and envelopers have six stages and can be tempo-synchronized.

Matrix Modulation
With 32 user modulation slots, Hydrasynth provides endless possibilities for using 35 modulation sources and 191 annotations. Explore the powerful modulation possibilities that cover everything from effects to arpeggiators.

Arpeggiator
Hydrasynth's arpeggiator offers standard arpeggio modes, as well as new features such as Step Offset and the ability to modulate most parameters in real time.

CV / Gate - MIDI - USB
Hydrasynth supports standard MIDI and USB/MIDI interfaces, as well as CV/Gate interfaces for connecting to modular systems. This opens the door to endless musical possibilities.

Control and Patches
The main control systems allow you to easily adjust parameters, browse patches, and modify them. In version 2.0, the number of patches has increased to 1024, and the new browser makes it easier to find the desired sounds.

Effects
The Hydrasynth effects chain includes advanced effects such as delay and reverb, which perfectly complement your sound. High-quality effects will help to create the desired atmosphere for your music.
