ASM Hydrasynth Keyboard – 8-voice polyphonic digital synthesizer with 49 semi-weighted keys, polytouch aftertouch, three oscillators per voice, 16 filter models, and an extensive modulation matrix with 32 slots for flexible sound design.

The Hydrasynth Keyboard introduces a powerful synthesis engine wrapped in a performance-friendly interface. Its innovative Polytouch keybed delivers polyphonic aftertouch, enabling expressive control of individual notes. The built-in 4-octave ribbon controller adds additional real-time modulation capabilities or can act as a pitch controller in Theremin mode. Combined with a deep wavetable architecture and extensive modulation options, Hydrasynth becomes a formidable instrument for both studio and stage.

Each voice is powered by three oscillators with access to 219 single-cycle waveforms, two of which support wavemorphing. Oscillators 1 and 2 route into the Mutators, allowing for complex sound transformations including FM, PWM, wave stack, and more. The dual-filter architecture includes a 12dB variable state filter and a 16-mode multimodel filter, which can operate in series or parallel.

The modulation system includes five LFOs and five DAHDSR envelopes, all syncable to tempo. The 32-slot modulation matrix connects 35 modulation sources to 191 destinations, making complex patches manageable and intuitive. The arpeggiator supports standard patterns and includes step offset and real-time parameter modulation. With MIDI, USB, and CV/Gate I/O, the Hydrasynth Keyboard integrates seamlessly with modern and modular setups.

The onboard effects section includes reverb, delay, chorus, and more, and version 2.0 firmware adds expanded bit depth control and 1024 user patch slots with an enhanced browser.
