Arturia KeyStep Pro
KeyStep Pro is a successful combination of the iconic Arturia KeyStep and BeatStep Pro controllers. The 37-key velocity-sensitive keyboard, which also has an aftertouch, is the primary means for recording melodies, bass lines and drum triggers. Here you can also use the TR grid to place its beats on point. The four tracks can be played in parallel and send their notes and commands to a total of two MIDI ports, eight drum triggers and four CV/gate/vita outputs. The Arturia KeyStep Pro's control voltage outputs can be linked together to play a rich, modular system of four voices. Of course, polyphony is also output via MIDI. The analogue clock/reset inputs and outputs are used to synchronise, for example, a drum computer from the pre-MIDI era, a teenage pocket operator or a sequencer for a modular system. The metronome built into the Arturia KeyStep Pro is output as an audio signal and can be easily listened to via a mixer or headphones.
Anarpeggiator and a random function complete the controller, which has been optimised with an emphasis on direct and immediate access in a useful way.
