API 312 edition brings the classic sound of the first API mixing consoles back into the modern studio. The module is built around the familiar discrete type 2520 preamp and provides up to 69dB of very direct, warm gain.
Using a3:1 switch, the ratio can be reduced at the output transformer so the amp circuit can be overdriven to its heart's content without producing excessively high output levels.
