The Ortofon Concorde Elite MKII is a DJ cartridge featuring a Nude Elliptical diamond stylus, a tracking force of 2-4 grams, and an output voltage of 8.5 mV.
The Concorde Elite MKII cartridge from studio and DJ equipment manufacturer Ortofon provides a frequency response of 20 Hz - 22 kHz with detailed and accurate sound across the entire frequency spectrum. It offers easy mounting and compatibility with a wide range of turntables.
Concorde Elite MKII Features
- Nude Elliptical Diamond Stylus: A high-quality stylus typically found in HiFi cartridges, offering improved detail, accuracy in tracking groove oscillations, and the ability to capture high-frequency information. Note: Not ideal for heavy back-cueing or scratching.
- Optimized Coil System: A specially developed coil system in the armature for optimized output, resulting in a powerful and full-bodied sound.
- Gold-Plated Stylus Body: A new, specially molded stylus body with real gold plating, enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the cartridge.
- New Rubber Suspension: A uniquely formulated rubber suspension designed for superior tracking performance, providing a richer, fuller sound with controlled brightness.
- Rigid 750 µm Aluminum-Magnesium Cantilever: An exclusively developed cantilever offering a balance of lightweight design and high strength for stable and accurate tracing of groove vibrations. Provides an ideal interface between the stylus and armature.
