Heritage Audio 8173 is a microphone preamp and EQ module for the 80 Series, with a Class A mic preamp, 80 dB of gain, 4-band EQ and High-pass Filter.

The 8173 module is designed to fill the input module slots in vintage 80 Series mixing consoles. It is also compatible with the powered Heritage Audio Frame 8 and Rack 2 enclosures. The 8173 can be easily described as a 1073 with the mid bands of a 1081. Heritage chose to keep the 1073 Baxandall EQ low and high bands, as they sound amazing, but implemented a 3-way high frequency selection, like the 1084.
