Voice cards extend the functionality of the Bullfrog synthesizer, making it even more versatile. Some replace patch cables by internally connecting Bullfrog "modules", others include built-in mixers, signal generators and advanced electronics to control the synthesizer. For example, the Sequencer sends CVs to adjust the pitch and gates to trigger events, and the Sampler
