Bastl Instruments THYME+

Bastl Instruments THYME+ is a digital tape delay with analog tape delay emulation.

THYME+ is an updated version of THYME, released in 2017. Along with improved routing capabilities, a better audio codec, enhanced firmware, the new version features a compact metal housing, larger knobs, and a more stylish front panel.

Although THYME+ is a digital device, it operates like an analog tape delay, offering tape speed and tape head position adjustments. Multiple tape heads enhance density and complexity, while feedback and filters control the richness of the delay tails.

Each sound effect parameter has its dedicated Robot offering 9 parameters and 9 modulations with manual tweaking or finely tuned randomizers.

THYME+ can easily integrate into existing setups with MIDI, analog clocking, and CV inputs, and it also includes a footswitch input.

At the core of THYME+ are 8 buttons for presets storing user effect settings. Presets can be played manually or sequenced with the built-in sequencer.
