Telegrapher is a brand-new player on the market (debuting in 2024) that immediately entered the game with the swagger of an industry veteran. Based in Istanbul, this Turkish brand was born from the fusion of two worlds: acoustic engineering (Emre Telci) and... luxury automotive manufacturing. The company's CEO, Erce Kaslioglu, previously produced interior components for brands like Bentley and Aston Martin. It shows immediately: Telegrapher monitors, such as the Gorilla or Fox, don't look like typical studio gear but rather like works of functional art with flawless matte finishes and customization options (e.g., laser engraving your logo).
Contrary to the digital trend, Telegrapher bets on a 100% analog signal path. There is no DSP, no AD/DA conversion, and no latency. Instead, there is raw power (up to 1100W in the Gorilla model from Hypex modules) and a unique cabinet construction, which in some versions is made of full carbon fiber. The result? Incredible rigidity, zero resonance, and bass that extends flat down to 35 Hz in the Gorilla, and an impressive 45 Hz in the tiny Fox. The sound is described as fast, "hot," and incredibly detailed.
Thanks to collaborations with giants like deadmau5 (who has custom sets in his studio) and the band Rammstein, Telegrapher has proven it's not just a pretty object. It's a serious tool for those who want their studio to look like a million dollars and sound just as impressive. At Wired Tunes, we offer these monitors to creators for whom aesthetics and an analog soul are just as important as technical specs.
