Native Instruments has announced the launch of the NKS Hardware Partner Program, which brings the NKS (Native Kontrol Standard) compatibility to hardware controllers from renowned manufacturers. This groundbreaking solution allows musicians and producers to access over 2,000 virtual instruments and effects across a wide range of devices.
What is NKS?
Native Kontrol Standard (NKS) is a technology that seamlessly integrates virtual instruments and effects with hardware controllers. It allows users to intuitively browse and manage presets, tweak parameters, and control sounds without wasting time on complicated setups. This makes it easier to focus on the creative process.
New partners and compatible devices
The following hardware brands and controllers are now supported under the NKS Hardware Partner Program:
- Akai Pro – MPK Mini, MPK-249, MPK Mini Play
- Novation – FLkey, Launchkey Mini 25 MK4, Launchkey 49 MK4, SL mk3
- M-Audio – Oxygen 25/49/61 mk5, Hammer Pro 88
- Korg – Keystage 49/61
Each of these devices provides full NKS support, offering users access to an extensive range of virtual instruments and effects.
Komplete 15 Select – a remarkable addition
All controllers included in the NKS Hardware Partner Program come with free access to Komplete 15 Select. Users can choose one of three editions that best suit their needs:
- Beats – Synths and sounds for pop, hip-hop, and R&B producers.
- Band – Guitars, keys, bass, drums, and studio effects for songwriting and live jamming.
- Electronic – Tools for EDM, techno, and house music production.
The Komplete 15 Select bundle includes tools like Massive X, Battery 4, and iZotope effects, significantly enhancing music production capabilities.
