Reissue of the famous Juno series

Roland 's Juno-X is a state-of-the-art keyboard synth with

the

authentic look of the Juno-106 , which is more than just a reissue of the famous Juno series. There are over 4,000 sounds and more than 90 Drum kits available , representing a sweep of Roland's most famous sounds from the early 1980s to today, and of course offering huge potential for future hits. Featuring Roland's latest generation of ZenCore sounds , the Juno-X is loaded with models of its iconic Juno-106, Juno-60, XV-5080 and RD-2000 instruments, and there's a new Juno-X model that even supports the popular Super Saw waveform from the JP-8000 synthesiser, plus an expanded vocoder function. Other models like the Jupiter 8 and SH-101 can be added for a fee via Roland Cloud. Another highlight in the Juno-X are the scene memories , of which there are 256. These function as a creative high-speed memory and store everything you are working on. Whether it's a handful of patterns, i-Arpeggio patterns, a sound that's just being created, various settings that are linked to a current project - handwritten notes and ''this needs to be turned on because I can't write it down'' are definitely a thing of the past. Anyone who has worked with Roland instruments before will quickly notice that the operation leads more quickly to a result, not least because of the neat interface.

Workhorse for stage and studioFrom a

purely visual point of view, Roland has moved closer in the Juno-X to its own original from the early 1980s. This impressive, purely digital instrument features a lightly weighted keyboard with 61 velocity-sensitive keys and aftertouch. The large controls and clear layout directly invite you to ''tinker'' with the sound. Internal stereo speakers with two four-watt outputs, headphone, XLR and jack outputs , as well as a versatile computer connection via USB with audio transfer leave nothing to be desired in terms of connectivity.

Historic and new worlds of soundThe clear

user interface, which largely corresponds to that of the legendary 1984 Juno-106, provides instant access to all sound-relevant parameters via multiple sliders and kn

obs.

In just a few steps you can create your desired sound in the function groups: oscillator, filter, LFO, envelope and effects. The typical Roland sound architecture has been retained, in which each sound can still consist of up to four parts. However, in Juno-X, the parts correspond to a complete, extended synth voice with its own oscillator and filter models, envelopes, modulation assignments and, of course, its own volume and pan settings. The included models more than match their historical prototypes and deliver radiant pads, slamming basses, funky Chords and all kinds of futuristic sounds. With the XV-5080 and RD-2000, you can get a range of sounds that no rock or pop band can do without, as well as a vocoder engine , which brings Kraftwerk robots to your own Studio side. Juno-X sounds are compatible with Roland Cloud content and can be freely swapped and extended.

EffectsMore than

90 multi-effects just waiting to alter and enhance the sounds you generate, individually or in a chain, per batch. The selection of delay, reverb, chorus, flanger and distortion effects, as well as true wow-factor uniques, should leave nothing to be desired. A master EQ and master compressor are located above the main output. The microphone input features its own effects processor, which largely overlaps with Synth Part's effects selection, and also has an implemented Vocoder- Kraftwerk greets!

Complete connection to your DAW

Juno-X can be fully integrated into your DAW workflow (including Ableton Live, Logic Pro, MainStage). Thanks to the USB audio interface , five stereo tracks can be recorded, edited and, above all, processed in parallel on the computer. This provides maximum convenience and sound quality at the same time with minimal cabling.

i-Arpeggiator - The Next Generation

!Roland Juno-X features

a

sequencer with five tracks (1 Rhythm, 4 Synth) , in which sounds are managed simultaneously. A real creativity booster turns out to be the i-Arpeggio (Intelligent Arpeggiator!) , which is oriented towards playing as well as phrases and beats. This ensures that the right melodies, accompaniment patterns and rhythms always succeed as if by magic. Of course, the phrases can be adjusted and changed.

Editor software and libraries for Juno-X

The graphical standalone editor was developed for sound enthusiasts who want to refine their sounds down to the smallest detail. The software runs on macOS and Windows platforms and is available for free via the Roland Cloud. Finally, you can manage all your sounds via a clear interface, create complex layers and performance configurations with the Scene Builder, edit parts in detail and ultimately make much better use of Juno-X's potential.
