Vostok Instruments Sena is an analog VCO with 4 waveforms (sine, triangle, saw, and square), 4 noise banks, and an LFO on each channel.
In Sena, there are basic waveforms like on any VCO, but each has an independent core and frequency control. Additionally, the tuning inputs of each channel are connected in series, making it easy to transpose or detune them.
For maximum stability and tracking accuracy, each channel is built around the legendary 3340 generator core found in many iconic synthesizers such as the Roland SH-101 and Jupiter-6, Oberheim OB-Xa, and Sequential Prophet-5.
Sena features 4 independent CV-controlled modifiers to expand the tonal range of each core: a two-stage folder for sine, a trapezoidal shaper for triangle, a phase modulator for saw, and a pulse width modulator for square.
