RODE SoundField NT-SF1 — a premium ambisonic microphone designed for high-resolution 3D audio capture. Developed in collaboration with SoundField — the pioneers of ambisonic recording — the NT-SF1 delivers full-sphere sound reproduction, capturing every direction with stunning realism and spatial accuracy.
At its core, the NT-SF1 features four precisely matched ½-inch true condenser capsules arranged in a tetrahedral array, enabling full A-format ambisonic recording. When decoded via the included SoundField by RØDE Plug-in, users can manipulate microphone orientation, polar pattern, and position in post-production, offering unmatched flexibility for VR, film, broadcast, and immersive music applications.
Each capsule is hand-selected for consistent frequency and phase response, ensuring perfect coherence across the 360° sound field. The microphone features ultra-low noise circuitry, high SPL handling, and a balanced XLR breakout cable for four-channel output. With its precision engineering and robust construction, the NT-SF1 is the ideal tool for professional spatial audio creators.
